who managed to find the listing before it was taken down, players will take control of Crypto, the main grey-skinned, bug-eyed alien from the original series who uses weapons like a gun that offers anal probes. The listing also says you’ll be able to “pose as pathetic humans to infiltrate their fragile democracy” and “use psychokinesis to send enemies flying or bombard them with random objects.”

The listing featured a 2020 release date but that may just be a placeholder. Destroy All Humans! is a classic PlayStation 2 experience that allows you to travel to the 1950s and blow up cows. The gameplay loop is incredibly rewarding and the violence is second only to its zany humor. A reboot of the franchise would be interesting, especially for those that enjoyed harvesting human DNA and piloting a giant saucer.

THQ Nordic, who own the Destroy All Humans! franchise will publish the new game. This is the second leak from the development company this week on Amazon, with Darksiders: Genesisbeing discovered on Thursday.

The title will be for the Nintendo Switch and PC, with a release date of December 31, 2019, though that may also be a placeholder date. IGN announced that the game will be announced at E3 2019 and will also be playable on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Google Stadia.

These two new titles in these highly anticipated franchises might inspire hope in old school gamers that remember them from the PlayStation 2 and Xbox 360. THQ Nordic is a controversial developer recently, known for purchasing the rights to any game they can, including the universe created by Curt Schilling’s failed 38 Studios Kingdoms of Amalur.

In February, THQ Nordic held an AMA on the forum 8chan, which is known as a haven for racists and pedophiles too toxic for the likes of reddit. Many in the game industry questioned this decision and the PR representative that set the whole thing up issued a public apology. Needless to say THQ Nordic could use a different kind of PR buzz, and a pair of beloved reboots is a step in the right direction.
